Are you looking for tips on hybrid working?
Hybrid working
Do you and your colleagues sometimes work from home or even from another, temporary location? Working partly from the office, partly from a different location – hybrid working – has become hugely popular in recent years.
Hybrid working offers great advantages, but how do you ensure that you continue to feel connected to your company and that collaboration remains efficient? We list our tips for hybrid working for you.
Make clear agreements
Flexibility is important in hybrid working: it is not a given that all of your colleagues will be working between 9:00 and 17:00. Some colleagues prefer to start earlier and others like to work a few extra hours in the evening. It is advisable to make clear agreements about this and to clearly communicate who is working when.
Since meetings with colleagues are and will continue to be an important part of hybrid work, you can, for example, agree on a time period during which everyone is online. These moments can then be scheduled for meetings between colleagues.
Ensure that your colleagues stay connected
If your colleagues mainly work from home, it is even more important to think about how you can keep them involved in the company.
For example, you can ask them to come to the office 1 or 2 days a week at the same time, so that you still see and speak to each other. Meeting tools have a chat function: promote the use of this. This is an accessible way for your colleagues to check in on everyone.
Provide a good infrastructure
With hybrid working, meetings are mostly virtual and you collaborate on documents in the cloud. It is therefore important that you have a stable internet connection – also at home – and the right tools for virtual meetings.
There are various tools that make hybrid working more efficient and easier, such as:

Make sure your colleagues know how to work with the tools
Many companies have implemented a digital collaboration tool, such as Zoom Meetings or Microsoft Teams. However, there is often (too) little attention paid to proper implementation and training for the users of the tools.
Duppal has developed a unique method to involve your colleagues in the implementation from step one. By directly talking to employees from different departments, they get the feeling that they are involved in the project. This ensures better user adoption and a successful implementation. Furthermore, we are there to answer your questions: our Meet Duppal Support team is happy to help.
